The National Union of Izon-ebe Students, University of Port Harcourt chapter has lauded the leader of Egbema Brotherhood, Chief Promise Lawuru for his contributions towards the growth of youths in Ijaw Nation.
According to Comrade Douye Vincent, President of NUIS UNIPORT, Alaowei Promise Lawuru has done so much towards the ‘enhancement of education in Delta state and Ijaw nation at large.’
According to Comrade Douye, the Egbema-born chief has ‘indeed distinguished himself in a unique way from other youthful Ijaw leaders in the state.’

As such, the National Union of Izon-ebe Students, University of Port Harcourt campus has deemed ot fit to bestow Alaowei Lawuru with an Award of Excellence.
The presentation ceremony is billed to take place on June 30, 2021, at Ogboinbiri, Warri North local government area of Delta state.
Chief Promise Lawuru is a Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Government on Security.
