Today marks an indelible memory in the familial history of one Fausat Adediran who lost barakat, her daughter in a fatal accident.
The accident occured due to brake failure at bode market, Molete area of Ibadan.
The news has it that Barakat was paying the motorcyclist who conveyed her to the market when she and the motorcylist were hit by the tanker which had brake failure.

Both of them were reported to have died instantenously.
In addition, some traders and others also gave up the ghost on that fateful day.
Barakat who would have turned 25 on 15th of August studied Mass com at Ibadan Poly where she completed her OND programme.
The mother said in a brief interview that her daughter had known that she would die but only chose to conceal it from her.
The mother stated: “Barakat knew she was going and that was why she told a young child that usually visited her that she would travel. But she had no intention to travel anywhere except this journey of no return on Sunday.”
Riposting, the sympathizers said that she would not have gone out had she known she would die on that day.

Adegoke Fajaye, the deceased’s brother said: “I was told that my sister saw the truck late and ran but she was electrocuted by the electric cable which dropped immediately the tanker hit the electric pole before veering inside the market.”
He added: “Barakat was caught in the web of the cables and was crushed by the tanker.”
The corpse was retrieved and buried immediately according to Islamic rites.
Friends, Families, traders and all others commiserate with the deceased family and prayed that they were given fortitude to bear the bitter loss.
