Former Kaduna Deputy Governor Bala Barnabas Bantex is Dead
The immediate past deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Yusuf Barnabas Bala Bantex is dead, Daily Report Nigeria can confirm.
According to reports, Bantex died in the early hours of Sunday, July 11, 2021.
Barnabas Bala Bantex was deputy governor between 2015 and 2019, during the first tenure of Governor Nasir El-Rufai.

He stepped down to seek election into the Senate seat for Kaduna South Senatorial District, but lost.
Confirming the tragic incident, El-Rufai said: “In the midst of trying times, I have received with utter sadness news of the departure of my friend and brother, His Excellency Barnabas Yusuf Bala (Bantex).”
