The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday unanimously rejected the nomination of Lauretta Onochie as a National Commission in the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Lauretta, a presidential aide was nominated by Muhammadu Buhari to represent Delta state in the Commission.
However, her nomination received widespread rejection from many quarters, with many branding her a card-carrying member of the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
