Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force on Monday dispersed supporters of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, as they gathered close to the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
The supporters of Nnamdi Kanu, who had gathered to in solidarity for their leader, were earlier denied access to the court premises.
The supporters, however, gathered by the side of the road, chanting solidarity songs in support for their leader, before they were dispersed by the police.

The IPOB leader who was arrested in Kenya will be re-arraigned in court today before Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja on allegation of treason.
The outspoken IPOB leader is also accused of jumping bail after he was released in 2017, following a raid at his father’s house in Abia State by soldiers of the Nigerian Army.
