Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim Joins APC
Gbenga Olawepo-Haship, a presidential candidate for Peoples Trust Party in the 2019 election, has defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
Olawepo-Hashim declared his joining the ruling Party via statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
The statement titled ‘Prominent politician, Olawepo-Hashim, pitches tent with APC” quoted him to have said he opted for the APC to actualise his vision.

According to Gbenga, the APC is not just populated by people with whom they founded the opposition Peoples Democratic Party together, but also because the party is a reasonable pathway for the preservation of the unity and progress of the nation.
He also said is now convinced about the passion of President Muhammadu Buhari towards fighting corruption even though critics have questioned the effectiveness of his anti-corruption crusade.
