NNPC pipeline vandalized by suspects
Hoodlums on Friday vandalized a pipeline belonging to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in the Igando-Ikotun area of Lagos State.
Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the suspects vandalized the NNPC pipeline in a bid to steal petrol in the early hours of Friday.
Following the crime perpetration, the suspects fled the premises, abandoning the punctured area of the pipeline which caused petrol content to gush out, reportedly flooding drainage channels connecting various streets including Omoboriowo Street, Old and New Garage Junctions in Ikotun, Lagos.

Confirming the incident, The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, said there was no loss of life.
He reported that the emergency response task force had blocked the punctured area of the pipeline and stopped further leakage of petrol.
Networks of pipelines are connected to twenty-one (21) white product depots and tank farms across Nigeria
