Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen scored twice to help Napoli grab a point away from home against Leicester City Thursday night.

Leicester’s Wilfred Ndidi was sent off in the dying minutes of the encounter.

The maiden goal scored by the Nigerian star rescued the team from suffering a defeat in the hands of the host at the King Power Stadium.

Osimhen double rescued his team after Leicester City had taken 2-0 lead.

Osimhen was initially a doubt for the game following a knock suffered in their last Serie A competition against Juventus, but overcame the injury setback and started alongside Hirving Lozano and Lorenzo Insigne.

Leicester had the perfect start in the competition and they extended their lead to 2-0 in 64 minute.

However, their lead was pulled back to 2-1 as Osimhen scored in his Europa league debut 5 minutes later.

The 21-year-old star also had his second goal in 87 minute through a perfect header.

Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester was sent off as his received his 2nd yellow card thereby augmenting Leicester’s frustration.

Nigeria’s Ndidi has had his first yellow card received in the 21st minute of the match.

At full time, police and stewards had to control a disturbance as missiles were thrown between the supporters of both the home teams.
