NDLEA Nab Pregnant Woman With Illegal Drugs In Rivers | Daily Report Nigeria

NDLEA (The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency) have captured a pregnant woman, Kate Ngozi Nwuju with illicit drugs in her possession.

Femi Babafemi, NDLEA’s spokesperson comfirmed the arrest in his statement.

The 38 year old pregnant suspect was arrested on Tuesday, 14th of Sep as stated by Femi.

The arrest was made in Rumueme, Mile 4, in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers state where the pregnant suspect resides.

The spokesman added that the arrest followed the fact of her being caught having outlawed drugs in her possession.

NDLEA apprehended the woman after being able to comprehend that she was drugs peddler.

Likewise, one Aliyu Saidu, suspected to be a fake soldier was also arrested with 2.3kg of Cannabis Sativa.

Femi revealed that he was nabbed in a commercial bus going to Makurdi from Lagos.

The fake soldier’s arrest made on Monday 13th of Sept in Benue at Aliade checkpoint.

Femi had in his statement : “In Kano, one Shuaibu Yusuf, was arrested on Friday 17th Sept with 537kg of cannabis sativa, concealed among bags of cement in a truck, while in Ogun state, five persons were arrested on Tuesday 14th Sept after their truck conveying 552kg cannabis was intercepted at Ogere Remo, along Lagos-Ibadan expressway.”

He added : “In a related development, narcotic officers on motorised patrol on Friday 17th Sept, arrested a 21-year-old Law Ubi at Marian Road, Calabar, Cross River state with 67.4 kg cannabis while a follow up search of his residence the following day, Saturday, led to the recovery of 4.2grams of Cocaine from his apartment. ”
