Nine passengers of an intra-city commercial bus has been reportedly crushed to death by a heavy-duty truck in Benin, Edo State.

The horrifying incident took place along the ever-busy Sapele Road by Ogbelaka Junction at about 7.30am when most residents were rushing off to their place of work and business places.

A truck conveying sand had brake failure and suddenly rammed into a moving commercial bus, fondly called Tuke -Tuke, killing the nine passengers on the spot before hitting another truck towards the Government Reservation Area (GRA).
