A bouncer has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a young boy to death for picking money at a wedding reception in Delta state.
The bouncer, identified as Francis Utuedor, was said to have stabbed the victim, Oghenemaro Eriana at a wedding reception in Wetland Hotel in Mofor, Udu Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, September 25.

It was gathered that the boy had attempted to pick money which was sprayed on the dancing couple, but the overzealous bouncer grabbed and stabbed him.
The boy and his mother were neighbors of the groom, hence their presence at the wedding. The mother of the deceased’s mother was said to have lost an older son two months before.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe, said that the suspect has been arrested, and is now in police custody.
“It happened at Wetland Hotel. The suspect is in our custody.” Edafe stated.
