Police operatives in Ebonyi state have arrested a suspected mentally challenged man for allegedly killing his wife, and six-year-old son.
The suspect, identified as Kenneth Nwoha, was reported to have hacked his wife, Mercy, and his son, Simpson, to death at Isiofumini village, Ishieke community area of the state on Wednesday, October 6.
According to an eyewitness, Kenneth woke up in the morning and went berserk, he killed his wife, son and also injured six other people including a seven-year-old boy and a 60-year-old man.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, Loveth Odah, said;
“He is currently undergoing a medical check-up to ascertain whether he is actually mentally-deranged. The six victims who were critically attacked are receiving treatment at a hospital, while the remains of the slain have been deposited in a mortuary.”
