Former Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud, has advised his former manager at Chelsea, Frank Lampard to accept the managerial role at Engish Premier League side, Newcastle United if the opportunity arises.
The AC Milan forward feels the job will give the Chelsea legend the opportunity to ‘bounce back’ and prove his ‘quality’.
Lampard has emerged as the leading candidate to replace Steve Bruce, who looks set to be replaced following the taking over of the Magpies by Saudi cash kings this week.

Quizzed by talkSPORT whether Lampard will fit in at Newcastle, Giroud said, “Yeah, definitely.
“I talked to him a little bit last year and I think he’s looking forward to a good challenge to come back as a manager. And I think it is definitely a good option for him.
“I believe Newcastle is a big team in the Premier League and it’s a good challenge for him to bounce back and show his quality, definitely.”
