A pastor who was accused of stealing a phone has been mercilessly beaten by a group of individuals who almost killed him.
According to eyewitnesses, the pastor was said to have stolen the phone around NNPC Mega station along Otukpo Road, Makurdi, Benue State, though there was no proof to back up their allegations.
In a video trending online, the pastor was spotted in the middle of a small crowd who surrounded him and was accusing him of theft at about 11 am on Monday, October 18.

The crowd surrounded him, some shouting at him and condemning his actions while some were complaining that they do not sleep well at night because of the crime rate in the area and it’s shocking to know that a man of God is involved in the act of stealing.
The pastor who was roughly manhandled by the mob was seen bleeding from the face.
