Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa, says former vice-president, Atiku Abubakar has the “intelligence” to win the 2023 presidential election.

Even though he is yet to declare interest, there have been speculations that Atiku, who was the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is eyeing the party’s 2023 presidential ticket.

When Fintiri was asked if he will be supporting Atiku for president, in an interview on Channels Television on Tuesday, he said: “I’m a supporter of everybody and he (referring to Atiku) is a leader. He is my father; he is a leader to everybody in PDP. He is our last presidential candidate and if given the opportunity again, I will support him,”
