Ndidi is My Biggest Headache – Super Eagles Coach

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has acknowledged that Wilfred Ndidi’s absence from his squad is his biggest worry.

The availability of and selection among several giant strikers including Kelechi Iheanacho, Victor Osimhen, and Taiwo Awoniyi caused no much frustration.

Even so, Rohr stated his biggest problem is the constant hamstring injury being battled with by the Leicester City midfielder.

Rohr said via an interview with Elegbete TV: “Ndidi not back, this is a big headache for me. ”

The 24-year-old who since September 25th picked up the injury against Burnley, failed to represent Nigeria in the World Cup qualifier clashes with the Central African Republic.

Yet, It’s not certain whether he will have recovered before Nigeria takes on Liberia and Cape Verde in next month’s qualifiers.
