Prof Ibrahim Gambari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, has flagged off the construction of the State House Clinic Presidential Wing on the November 1, 2021.
Recall that the Permanent Secretary, State House, Umar Tijjani, some days ago disclosed that the President had approved the construction and equipping of a 14-bed space Presidential Clinic at a cost of N21bn.
The Presidential Clinic would contain 14-bed facilities with a total area of 2,700 square metres
He explained

He also added that there would be an underground, first floor, two operating theatres, two executive suites, two VIP wards, two Isolation wards, and a six-bed isolation area in the building. A laboratory, healing garden, pharmacy, and X-ray facility would also be included.
The foundation laying ceremony took place on Monday and was attended by Ganbari, Tijjani, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina; a delegation from the Julius Berger Nigeria State House medical practitioners amongst others.
