EPL: Conte Becomes Second Highest-Paid Coach Following Tottenham Move

New Tottenham Hotspur boss, Antonio Conte has emerged as the second-highest-paid coach in the English Premier League.

The former Inter Milan manager, Conte and Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool are jointly the second-highest-paid managers in the prestigious English League.

Conte joined Tottenham at the sack of Nuno Espirito after a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United last weekend.

The 52-year-old signed an 18-month deal at The club’s new stadium on Tuesday with an option to extend the deal to the satisfaction of all parties.

That said, the Italian manager will be receiving £290,000 per week to equal Klopp’s weekly due at Anfield.

That reckons up to £15 million annual payment for Conte, whose annual due is £5 million below that of Guardiola, who makes the top list with £20 million yearly and £385,000 per week.

Thomas Tuchel of Chelsea receives not more than £7million per year and is below Brendan Rodgers of Leicester City, Marcelo Bielsa of Leeds United, and United’s Ole Gunnar Solksjaer.
