AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been banned and he won’t feature for Sweden in their first leg of the World Cup play-offs in March.
Talisman Ibrahimovic will miss Sweden’ semi-final clash following his suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct on Chelsea’s captain, Cesar Azpilicueta in the World Cup qualifiers against Spain on Sunday.
The 40-year-old came onto the pitch to replace Alexander Isak in the 73 minute after Spain had grabbed a winner to seal their automatic World Cup qualification over Sweden.
Alvaro Morata found the winner for his side at Estadio de La Cartuja through Daniel Olmo’s assist 4 minutes to the final whistle.

Being always aggressive, Ibrahimovic could not save his side from the disappointment but left his mark on the 32-year-old defender following a brutal shoulder charge.
Following the victory, Spain who have never lost a home game in World Cup qualifiers finished top of Group B with 19 points, while the second-placed Swedes who could still qualify through the playoffs in March have 15 points so far.
