12-Year-Old Mesiro Okusare narrates how security guards at the Word of Life Bible Church, Warri, brutalized him over allegations of stealing a church member’s mobile phone.

The incident took place on Monday, November 8, during the 2021 Jubilee Word Festival at the church auditorium in Ajamimogha, Warri, Delta State.

The Junior Secondary 3 pupil of Urhobo College told DaIly Report Nigeria how he was subjected to severe torture by the security guards led by one Mr. Friday Ogbo.

Efforts to get comments from the church have so far proved futile.

When contacted, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DCP Bright Edafe, said he has not been notified of the incident.

Word of Life Bible Church is founded and overseen by the former President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor.
