The suspected cultists who allegedly tortured 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni Junior to death over his refusal to join their group are reportedly on the run to jet out of the country.
Daily Report Nigeria can recall that Oromoni, a Junior Secondary 2 pupil of Dowen College of Lekki Phase 1 in Lagos, died of internal injuries sustained from the said incident.

While Oromoni died on Tuesday from the injuries, the school authority has denied a case of torture or a cult related incident, saying the deceased only sustained injuries while playing football.
However, a close source to the family who spoke under anonymity, said the suspects in collaboration with the school authority are making plans to fly out of the country in order to escape justice.
“The school authority in collaboration with parents of the suspected cultists are making all arrangement to fly out the suspects in order to save the battered image of the school before the public due to the recent development,” the source said.
Meanwhile, parents of the deceased are demanding justice for their deceased son, calling on the Nigeria Police Force, DSS and other security agencies to thoroughly investigate the incident in order to bring the culprits to book.
