Comrade Jamilu Aliyu Zannah, a former Chairman of Zamfara State chapter of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has passed on after a protracted illness.
It was gathered that he was taken to India in 2019 where he underwent medical treatment after which he returned to the country.
He was also appointed the state commissioner for Social Welfare Development by the former Governor of Zamfara State, Abdul Aziz Yari.

Aliyu had interest in the Senate as he was looking forward to representing Zamfara Central zone in the National Assembly.
