The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has been forced to effect changes to the Super Eagles final 28-man list ahead of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Meanwhile, top four stars have been removed from the squad for one reason or the other.

Victor Osimhen has pulled out for being tested positive to Covid-19, while both Abdullahi Shehu and Leon Balogun got injured.

Hence, the necessity to hastily find replacements for the unavailable quartet.

Finding solution, the Federation therefore, called up Tyrone Ebuehi,Henry Onyekuru, Peter Olayinka and Oluwasemilogo Ajayi.

The absence of the Napoli striker, Osimhen has paved way for the Olympiacos star, Henry Onyekuru just like Watford winger, Dennis has been replaced by Czech Republic–based forward Peter Olayinka.

Cyprus –based Shehu has also given chance to Ebuehi who plays as a right-back for Venezia in the Serie ‘A’ and Oluwasemilogo Ajayi will come in place of Rangers centre-back, Leon-Balogun.
