The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had dismissed reports of a planned defection of former president, Goodluck Jonathan to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was disclosed on Wednesday by the PDP Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.
Debo said the PDP is talking to critical members of the party on how to salvage the country from the APC in 2023.

He said the Dr. Iyorchia Ayu-led National Working Committee is reaching out to members such as the former president, to join hands towards rebuilding a better Nigeria.
The statement described the APC as special duty vehicle manufactured to take Nigeria on a purposeless journey tagged “next level.”
The PDP, however called on Nigerians to team up with it in a bid “win back the nation of our collective dream.”
The Party reiterated that it was not aware of any planned defection by it’s esteemed international statesman, Goodluck Jonathan.
