Kanye West, an American rapper and producer, is being investigated for allegedly assaulting a fan who asked for his autograph.
According to Fox 11, the 44-year-old rapper got into an argument with a fan in the early hours of Thursday.
The argument reportedly became physical when the fan approached West, who was sitting in his SUV outside a private hotel.

West was accused of punching the fan who fell to the ground.
The rapper is being investigated for misdemeanor battery, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department.
If found guilty, the rapper could face a six-month prison sentence.
