Many have lost their lives following the midnight attack in Dan-Kade village, Unashi district under the Zuru chiefdom of Kebbi State.

According to the report, an unspecified number of terrorists were said to have invaded the village killing scores of people in the attack on Sunday night.

A resident of the village, Bello Dankade, said,

“Many were killed and their corpses burnt. We can’t tell the number of fatalities right now. We are left wondering why terror killings seem to be on the rise, particularly in the North-West region.”
