BREAKING: Court Grants Mompha N200m Bail

Self acclaimed billionaire and Instagram celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha, best known as Mompha, has been granted a N200 million bail by Justice Mojisola Dada.

This followed proceedings at the Ikeja Special Offences Court on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

In addition to the sum, the Court also requested two sureties, one of which must own a property valued at N100 million and within its jurisdiction.

Daily Report Nigeria can recall that the Dubai-based internet celebrity was re-arrested on Monday, January 10, 2022, for alleged money laundering.

Mompha, alongside his firm, Ismalob Global Investment Limited, was first arraigned for alleged money laundering offenses on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission arraigned Mompha and Ismalob before Justice Mojisola Dada of an Ikeja Special Offences Court
