The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has disclosed it has cancelled its planned important meeting with stakeholders in Ekiti State.
The meeting was arranged to address the crisis rocking the state chapter of the party ahead of the gubernatorial poll.
The development was contained in a statement on Wednesday, by the National Secretary, Samuel Anyanwu.
Anyawu, however, failed to give a specific reason for the impromptu cancellation.
“This is due to reasons beyond the control of the party. A new date will be communicated in due course”,
The party regretted the inconveniences the development had caused the invitees and party members looking forward to the outcome.
