His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, and Deputy Governor, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, has retrieved the Commissioner for Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Federal Otokito, from his abductors through the help of the State security agents with no ransom paid and has promised criminals no haven in the State.

In addition, the Governor has announced the dethronement of the present office holders of the Otuokpoti community, in Ogbia Local Government Area starting with the paramount ruler Chief A. C. T. Wongo replaced by the Chairman of the Chiefs Council, Chief Rescue Abe, as the Acting Paramount Ruler.

Also, the Chairman of the Community Development Committee, Mr. Azibalua Amon has been sacked and replaced by Mr. Jerry Offor in Acting Capacity.

Likewise, Mr. Emolem Igue has been removed as Youth President of Otuokpoti and replaced by Mr. Shadrach Afiemo.

However, the Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State, Mr. Ben Okolo, has declared four persons wanted in connection with the kidnap with the names; Joshua Abi, Clergy Okio Mabinton, Azini, and Gift Tebeda.

Mr. Otokito thanked God for sparing his life from his abductors.
