The president of the Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, Comrade Ozobo Austin was on Friday honored with a Peace Ambassador at the Oil City Advancement Awards.

Ozobo, who doubles as a Special Assistant to the Delta State Government was bestowed the honor for his advocacy for humanitarian rights and community development.

Reacting to the award, the revered Niger Delta activist dedicated the award to all comrades and partakers of liberation movement across the country.

“I dedicate this to all the comrades across Nigeria and the world. This is for all of us and it is a call for us to keep the struggle alive until victory is achieved,” he said.

Also, the President of Perez Intellectual Foundation, Prince Perez Bibaikefie was honored with a Peace Ambassador award for his contribution to human development.

The publisher of Iduwini Voice and Chief Executive Officer of Peben Construction Limited, simply attributed the award as a call for more service.

“If the little efforts one makes on self-development are seen and acknowledged by individuals and establishments, we can only be grateful to God and the issuing institutions. This is a call for more responsibilities or efforts both in person development and for public good,” he said.
