The affected staff members said the act has affected their work pace as many of them have to leave the road for riders who are mostly top government officials to pass and begged the Chairman, Hon. Tolu Amatu to help them bring a solution to the problem.

The exercise which took place on January 29, 2022, was also witnessed by police officers from the Yenagoa A-Division who supported the exercise by handing defaulters to the environmental officials to be charged by the Yenagoa Magistrate court to face the law.

The Chairman of the Authority thanked all directors, supervisors, Health officers, field workers, men on patrol, the judiciary, security personnel, the media, and everyone else who participated in the first exercise of the year.

Bayelsa is going green because of them and the Governor, His Excellency, Sen. Douye Diri is appreciative and aware of their exceptional abilities, he added.
