Former Miss USA, Cheslie Kryst, has died at 30.
According to her family and the New York City Police Department, she died after jumping from a building in Manhattan.
The sad incident reportedly happened on Sunday, CNN reported.

The former beauty queen’s family confirmed the sad news in a statement that reads, “In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie. Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined.”
Before her death, the former Miss USA winner shared a photo on her Instagram page with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and peace.
Kryst was an attorney who received three degrees from two universities. Asides from practicing law, the North Carolina native was also an entertainment correspondent for Extra TV.
“Our hearts are broken. Cheslie was not just a vital part of our show. She was a beloved part of our Extra family and touched the entire staff. Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends,” Extra TV said in a statement.
