Human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju, says President Muhammadu Buhari should be commended over the issue of embatlled Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP, Abba Kyari.

The NDLEA had declared Kyari, a former head of the Police Intelligence Response Team, IRT, wanted after evidence linked him to a drug cartel operating along the Brazil-Ethiopia-Nigeria route.

Reacting, Adeyanju said Buhari should be commended for not interfering with the ongoing case of the police officer.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the activist wrote: “I commend President Buhari and his government for not interfering with this Abba Kyari cocaine trafficking issue.”
