A certain woman has lamented on Twitter how Nigerian female medical practitioners are not genuinely loved for who they are but due to their profession.
According to her the moment a woman tells a Nigerian man she’s a doctor or a nurse, the man instantly brings up marriage to them.
Furthermore, she said that these men are usually unwilling to support the female medics because they believe such women have money.

In the end, she shared tweets noting that men drive around the Lagos University Teaching Hospital in search of female medics.
