Ogun: Dapo Abiodun Gives New Directive To Appointees With Political Ambition

Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has given new directive to his appointees who are interested in seeking elective offices in the 2023 general elections.

The governor directed the appointees with political ambition to register their intention.

In a letter on Tuesday, Tokunbo Talabi, the Secretary to the State Government, said the appointees must register at a special desk created in his office.

The letter with reference number, SSG/ADM. 22″/1, reads: “In compliance with the rules and regulations guiding political appointees and the provisions of Election Guidelines as released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on 26th February, 2022, tagged “Timetable and Schedule of Activities for 2023 General Election”, please be informed that all political appointees in this administration aspiring for political offices should indicate their disposition by registering their intention at the Special Desk created in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government before close of work on Wednesday, 2 March, 2022.
