Nigeria Records Three New COVID Cases, Lowest Daily Count in 2022

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has disclosed that three people tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

NCDC made this known in its latest coronavirus data published for March 5, 2022.

The figure was the lowest number of daily new COVID-19 cases in 2022 so far.

The states that reported the infections were Katsina (2) and Kaduna (1).

No death figure was recorded from COVID-19 complications.

While the death toll is now 3,142, the daily count of recoveries increased slightly, with 11 patients discharged on Saturday, increasing the total to 249,171.
