A 6-year-old girl identified as Khadijah Ya’u, has been reportedly raped to death by yet-to-be-identified persons in Kaduna state.
The deceased body was found at a mosque located at New Road, Kurmi Marshi by Nnamdi Azikwe bypass, in the Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

Also confirming the incident, Spokesperson of the Kaduna State Police Command, ASP Muhammed Jalinge, disclosed that the body was discovered on June 26 (Friday), 2020.

According to ASP Muhammed, members of the incident community had reported the incident at the Kurmi Marshi Police Division, after discovering the dead body around 3:20pm close to Friday prayer time by Muslims.
ASP Muhammed further said that although no suspect has been arrested, proper investigations has commenced as the evil perpetrators will be caught and brought to book.
