Miss Ingorzede Ozioma Asaba, in collaboration with Shedrack Agediga Foundation (SAF), on Tuesday distributed writing materials to schools in Ogulagha and Sokebolou communities in Burutu local government area of Delta State.
The move was in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Miss Asaba, who turns a year older on April 1, 2022.
The occasion was overseen by Pastor Seimode Lakemfa, the Director of Programs for the Shedrack Agediga Foundation, accompanied by other members of the non-governmental organization.

Addressing the students, who were elated to see the team on the exercise, Seimode said:
“One of our sisters, her name is Ingozede Ozioma Asaba. On the 1st of April will be her birthday and she has decided to identify with you.
“She wants to associate with you and in that effort, she has made up her mind to mark her birthday with you. She is not here right now but she has sent us. We are here on her behalf to mark her birthday.
“She has decided that every one of you as part of her birthday, have an exercise book and a pen. That’s her own contribution to your education on her birthday anniversary.
“One exercise book minimum each and a pen. That’s her birthday gift to you and that’s why we are here.”
A combined total of 789 students benefited from the exercise in both schools.
Mr Aduwa Daniel and Mrs. Egbo Ejumo Patience, principals Sokebolou and Ogulagha Secondary Schools, commended the gesture, thanking their benefactors on behalf of the students.
The students showed their gratitude as they clapped and wished the celebrant a happy birthday.
