Peter Obi, a Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, has stated that Nigeria’s woes can turn around within a decade if properly managed.
He made the remarks while speaking to the Senate PDP Caucus about his presidential ambitions in 2023.
According to him, accomplishing the needed turnaround will necessitate lowering the high cost of government and allocating resources appropriately.

Obi, the former governor of Anambra State also advised that the appropriate decision be made to ensure that the country’s economy improves greatly.
He said:
“I know that if Nigeria is properly managed, it can turn around in 10 years and be on the path of growth.”
