Among the issues are refusal to implement third-party deductions in most COE’s, double standard deployed by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment and the Ministry of Education against the COE’s relative to other tertiary institutions, and imposition of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System on COE’s system.

The organization also accused the government of failing to address the Public College System one year, this was following a memo emphasizing the deplorable state of COE’s.

While issuing the ultimatum during a press conference held at the National Commission for Colleges of Education in Abuja, COEASU’s President “Nuhu Ogirima”, said that administrative impunity and rights deprivation dominate most of the COE’S.
