Medical doctors based in Delta State have resolved on a three-day warning strike to protest the alleged refusal by the state government to implement Covid-19 hazard allowance for health workers.

According to the report on Nation, the warning strike action is set to commence on Monday, next week and to terminate on Wednesday same week.

The doctors insist that the decision of the state government to exempt doctors and health workers from the proposed temporary suspension of N30,000 minimum wage did not sway the doctors.
The state’s chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association, Dr Omo Ekeneam, confirmed the proposed warning strike to newsmen.
