A nurse identified as Tunde Oyeniran, has allegedly hacked his wife and two children to death in Osun state.

Oyeniran, a resident of Inisa town in Osun state, was learnt to have committed the crime murder on the 24th of July, Friday.

He allegedly hacked his victims to death using a cutlass.

He had raised a false alarm in the community, claiming that his family was attacked by hoodlums. This followed an alleged self-inflicted cuts on his hands and stomach in order to cover up for his crimes.

Confirming the incident, Osun state Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola, said that the suspect was apprehended at where he was receiving medical care.

Further investigations has commenced as the suspect will be duly prosecuted if found guilty within the prejudices of law.

Meanwhile, the corpses have been deposited at the morgue for post-moterm examination.
