Blasphemy: Irene Chiamaka Files Custody Lawsuit Against Dangote’s Son In-law, Jamil Abubakar

Irene Chiamaka Nwachukwu, a baby mama of businessman, Aliko Dangote’s son-in-law, Jamil Abubakar has filed for sole legal custody of her son with the latter.

As stated in Nwachukwu’s lawsuit, her move is due to Abubakar’s open support for extrajudicial killings.

This was birthed by the gruesome murder of Deborah Samuel, a student of Shehu Shagari College of Education, over alleged blasphemy.

Reacting to this, the son of a former Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, Jamil Abubakar had publicly declared the punishment for blasphemy as death.

He said in a now-deleted tweet.
“In Islam, we respect the Injil, Taura, Zabur, we were never taught to disrespect any of the book or any of the prophets from Adam to Muhammad SAW and the Quran. The punishment for blasphemy is death in most religions including Christianity. Respect people’s religion, it’s simple.”

His baby mama who seemed not pleased with his reaction filed a lawsuit for full custody of their son.

Her reason was that she was disturbed and seriously concerned about leaving her child in the care of someone with such an extreme mindset.

Also, she stated that she wouldn’t be requesting child support or his assistance with parenting such as attending Parents Teachers Association meetings, and deciding the house the child is in or the school he attends.

Nwachukwu added that her son is from a Christian home, hence she is disturbed about leaving him with someone with such doctrine.
