A group under the aegis of Elite Youths Burutu, has congratulated the lawmaker representing Burutu Federal Constituency, Julius Pondi, on his emergence as flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party in the recent primary election.
The group also declared its support for the lawmaker ahead of the general election in 2023.
A statement released by the group obtained by Daily Report Nigeria reads;

“On behalf of the Elite Youths of Burutu LGA we send you a warm congratulations on your victory and our best wishes for your success to Represent People Democratic party (PDP) as the Party Flag Bearer Comes 2023 General Election as you prepare to take up the responsibilities and challenges of your high office.
“As you embark upon your new responsibilities, we wish to assure you and the people of Burutu of the continued friendship and sympathetic interest of the Government and people.
“We look forward working with you not only to develop closer relations between our LGA but also to concert our efforts in the cause of peace and the brotherhood of all peoples.”
Pondi, who is seeking a third term at the green chambers, defeated Franc Enekorogha and Arede Edeinmene, at the primary election that held in Kiagbodo, on Monday.
