The Benue state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has elected Speaker of the State House of Assembly,Titus Uba, as its governorship candidate.
After winning 21 out of the 23 LGAs in the state, Uba becomes the party’s flag bearer for the 2023 polls.
In a keenly-contested election held at the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi, the Speaker’s closest challenger, Benson Abounu won in Otukpo and Ogbadibo LGAs.
