Police Confirm Attack on Genuine Estate Gwarimpa, Give Details | Daily Report Nigeria

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has confirmed the attack on Genuine Estate, in the Gwarkmpa area.

Daily Report Nigeria earlier brought you reports that daredevil hoodlums in the early hours of Monday June 6, invaded the Genuine Estate.

The hoodlums attacked the Estate between the hours of 1 am and 4 am, bearing bows, arrows and machetes, kidnapping unconfirmed number of residents in the process.

However, the FCT Police Public spokesperson, DSP Adeh Josephine, while confirming the attack, said may be a case of kidnap.

Adeh noted that the incident was merely a robbery attack and not a case of bandits as earlier reported.

She said, “It is most likely not a kidnapping incident. I am working on it and it is not in Gwarinpa, it is in Galadimawa. Am on it right now.

“But it is most likely not a kidnap case and it is not bandits, it is just robbers, I am working on it.”
