The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency in Oyo State, Shina Abiola Peller has urged the Presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu to resolve all internal issues in the party.
Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State, had defeated other aspirants to emerge the ruling party’s flag bearer for the 2023 presidential election.
Reacting, Peller in a statement signed by Kola Popoola, his Press Secretary, described Tinubu’s victory as a well deserved one.
He urged the former governor to ensure that peace reigned within the party.
According to him: “It was indeed a battle well fought, which deserves commendation from all well meaning Nigerians irrespective of political, ethnic or religious affiliation. I salute Asiwaju Tinubu’s courage, doggedness and political sagacity – it is a well deserved victory.
“I am using this opportunity to urge Asiwaju to leverage on his emergence as the presidential flag bearer of the APC to resolve all the internal issues and disagreements emanating from the party and bring everyone together as one big family.

“Asiwaju needs to ensure that peace reigns within the party. However, this cannot be achieved except we allow internal democracy, justice, equity and fairness prevail in our activities,”
