Police Confirm Abduction Of Two Worshipers From Celestial Church In Ogun | Daily Report Nigeria

Ogun state police command have confirmed the abduction of two persons from the Celestial Church of Christ, in Wasimi, Ewekoro Local Government Area of the state by gunmen.

Spokesperson of the Command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Ota, said that the police were on top of the situation.

It was gathered that the gunmen on Monday, June 13, around 11p.m. stormed the church and kidnapped two worshippers, Oluwaseun Ajose and Dagunro Ayobami.

According to Oyeyemi, the police were already on the trail of the gunmen who abducted the worshippers.

“We are making efforts to ensure that the two abducted persons were rescued alive.

“The Police is committed to ensuring the safety of lives and property across the state without any fear or favour,” Oyeyemi said.
