Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senate Chief Whip, has stated that with the emergence of former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu as the APC presidential candidate, the party has no choice but to field a Muslim running mate.
Kalu, who supports the ruling party’s planned Muslim-Muslim ticket, also claimed that if the party considers any other aspect and abandons the notion, it will struggle to win the presidential election.
