Fresh facts have emerged on the case involving former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice.
The couple was arrested in Heathrow, United Kingdom by Metropolitan Police over allegations bordering on human trafficking and organ harvest.
The lawmaker and his wife were detained for allegedly trafficking David Ukpo Nwamini, a 15-year-old to the UK, in a bid to harvest his organs.

The police also said the couple intended to harvest one of the kidneys of David in order to carry out a transplant for their ailing daughter.
Miss Sonia Ekweremadu has reportedly been battling a kidney related ailment and has been under dialysis for sometime according to reports.
David Ukpo reportedly took himself to the police, reporting that he was homeless and was subjected to slave treatment by the Ekweremadus.
A cash of $20,000 was also seen on the couple, who were reportedly on their way to Istanbul, Turkey to seek for another donor.
The couple were almost immediately charged to the Uxbridge Magistrate Court, and have since been remanded in prison until July 7.
However, a new twist was added to the story on Friday when details surrounding the true age of David became a concern to Nigerians.
Findings have revealed that the young man may have lied about his real age as his International Passport and BVN details show that he was born on October 10, 2000.
If the revelations are anything to go buy, David is truly 21 years as earlier stated by Senator Ekweremadu in his letter to the UK embassy, notifying it of the donation procedure.
He was deemed too young and incapable of giving consent by doctors at the Royal Free Hospital, where the procedure was scheduled for.
The arrest of Ike Ekweremadu and his wife has drawn mixed reactions from Nigerians across all boards.
While some empathize with the parents who are desperate to save their child, others have attributed the case to a De ja vu after the lawmaker declared that his kinsman, Peter Obi would not win the 2023 presidential election.
Meanwhile, Peter Obi has led a host of Nigerians who pray that the couple overcome their current predicament.
